A DELECTABLE EXPERIENCE

The beach at East Winds is our hidden gem, and we like it that way. Set in a natural, private bay, it is unmanicured but beautifully maintained to bring out the best of both worlds. A perk of being in the Caribbean is that the sea stays warm all year round so it’s always a good time to take a dip in the waters!

Of course, with all the heat, there needs to be shade. We’ve put gazebos and sunbeds all along the beach so you can enjoy the many different and beautiful views of the water. Drinks service is always available so there is no need to move away from your book or rest.

You’ll also notice that our beach doesn’t contain any fences from either side. That’s because it is a truly secluded and private area, by nature’s design. The sand naturally gives way to some more rocky outcrops further down which help break the tide and makes for more enjoyable sailing lessons, wink-wink.

					Peaceful Paradise.   - Our second visit to East Winds and just as special. A wonderful place to relax and recharge. The weather was perfect and the grounds stunning. Staff were delightful, warm and... read more friendly. The water sports team were the stars for us. No request was too much for them. Their experienced tuition on sailing and paddle boarding was exceptional. Thank you Joe, Davon and Damien. Food is mostly good especially the lunchtime BBQ. Dinner was on occasions slightly disappointing and we rarely had all the courses. Just not necessary. Perhaps focus should shift to quality and not quantity offering a really top notch entree instead of lots of little courses. Our room was charming and spotlessly clean. However, we had to ask twice to have bathroom light bulb replaced and net curtain in the bedroom had seen better days! The sunset cruise was fantastic and well organised. My criticisms are minor and mentioned only to ensure this incredible place remains top notch in the hope that we will be able to return soon. We would strongly recommend East Winds if you are looking for some peace, space and luxury.

					Lovely team   - One of the most lovely places I’ve stayed. Very welcoming  and friendly. Loved the book library. Great yoga and pilates. Coolish pool which was lovely. Always a beach chair... read more available. Enjoyed using a paddle board. Liked the in room mini-bar and champagne on arrival. They put taxis to and from the airports on my room and a transfer to and from the cricket which was handy to pay using a credit card. Be warned the taxis are very expensive. Take buses if you can. Only one power point in my room would charge my phone and the kettle only worked in one (other) power point.

					A beautiful and picturesque resort   - I came to St Lucia with some friends who were getting married at the hotel and it was a beautiful week. The grounds are stunning and the accommodation is very... read more traditional. Every single member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The wedding was absolutely stunning and executed exceptionally from the team. 

The rooms have bug spray and insect repellent which was a lovely touch! 

I had a massage and the open air experience whilst hearing all the calmness from the gardens was amazing. 

We were unfortunate to be here for hurricane beryl but it was handled so professionally and the team ensured we’d have anything we needed and we still had hot meals delivered during this time. They had also arranged for us to have breakfast / lunch / day access at a nearby hotel whilst they cleaned up the grounds following the hurricane. 

It’s a very traditional experience at east winds and one I would recommend for authenticity and charm. An excellent team which truly make it too!

The food was excellent! ... read more Beautiful views as well in the morning and at night. We took an excursion to the volcano and loved that it was a small group and Simeon made it so fun. We also renewed our vows and they exceeded expectations with how beautiful everything was. ❤️
