COVID-19

and East Winds

Covid-19 Regulations

Don’t forget to check restrictions before you travel. For the latest entry requirements to St Lucia please check here: https://www.stlucia.org/en_UK/covid-19/

Fully vaccinated visitors are able to move around the island freely and enjoy all that the island has to offer.

Proof of vaccination along with a negative PCR test will need to be shown on arrival at the airport during a screening process which is very efficient and quick. Fully vaccinated travelers are those who are at least two weeks past their final dose of a WHO approved vaccination. Guests will be given a special wrist band to show that they are fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will need to be kept on hand at all times when leaving the resort to enjoy the island’s many activities, shopping experiences, restaurants, bars and more.

Visitors who arrive who are not fully vaccinated can still enjoy the property and accompanied Covid-safe excursions.

This relaxing of restrictions certainly represents progress towards normality, however it is important to note that St. Lucia’s core Covid-19 health and safety protocols remain in place (physical distancing, hand washing and mask wearing in public) for the safety of ALL visitors and locals alike.

Covid Testing

Many countries will require you to have a Covid-19 test before you return home. We will make the process as simple as possible for you by administering the test at the hotel, this will be handled by our Nurse. We will then take the test to the laboratory for you for processing, you will receive the test results by email. This negative result will have to be shown at the airport on check in before your flight, if your test is positive you will not be allowed to travel.

Antigen / Lateral Flow Tests will be charged at US$50 each and PCR Tests are charged at US$150.

The costs of the test will be added to your final bill on check out.

Cancellations and Date Changes

We will try and keep things as simple as possible. If you have booked through an agent please contact your agent who will be able to manage cancellations and date changes for you.

If you booked directly with the hotel and have to change your dates we will offer you an alternative date at the same rate. If new travel restrictions are introduced either in St Lucia or at home, then we will refund any deposit you have made to the hotel.

New Bookings

If you would like to make a booking direct with the hotel we will ask you for a refundable deposit to secure your booking.  We will then ask you to pay the full cost of your stay, 2 weeks before arrival, by which time there will be certainty about travel restrictions from your country.

If you wish to make bookings through your usual agent, please contact them direct.
