Guests enjoy holidaying in Saint Lucia all year round, however, the most popular tourist times are between December and June. See our special offers page for the latest offers available.

Saint Lucia enjoys warm weather throughout the year, with average temperatures ranging from 25 Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) to 31 Celsius (87 Fahrenheit). The traditional hurricane or rainy season is June to October; however, Saint Lucia sits outside the main hurricane belt, so hurricanes rarely affect it.

The island is 27 miles long and 14 miles wide, a total of 238 square miles.

Here are a few of the activities you can do on the island:

* Visit the Pitons and if you feel really fit, perhaps even climb them!

* Explore the beauty of our Rainforest

* Go zip-lining amongst the forest trees

* Snorkel or scuba on our coral reefs

* Enjoy diving in the Marine Park and in the Coral Gardens

* Sail on a pirate ship

* Visit a Cocoa Plantation

* Visit our “walk-in” volcano and refresh yourself in the Sulphur Springs and Diamond Falls

If you would like to do any of the above activities while you are staying with us at East Winds, we would be more than happy to help organize a trip for you. Transportation can also be arranged at reception and a breakfast/lunch hamper to take with you for the day.

Our team has a wealth of local knowledge and will be able to assist you in planning a local trip. We can take care of the booking for you, including making the necessary transportation to and from your destination.

We can also arrange a food hamper to take with you for day excursions. Simply let reception know 24 hours before your trip and we will have a breakfast or lunch hamper ready for your departure.

Electricity to Saint Lucia is 240 volts, and the plugs are UK-style with 3 pins. A universal adapter is provided in all rooms and can be used for most electronics, including cell phones and computers.

The dress code is casual all day in the restaurant, bars and around the resort. But in the evening, the atmosphere becomes a little more formal and the restaurant moves to silver service with a smart/casual dress code with long trousers for the gentlemen.

All our guests at East Winds are free to use our private chauffeur service! If you would like to use this service, please contact reception to make arrangements. We are also happy to arrange transportation to specific destinations, driving tours of the island, as well as airport transfers if you wish.
