We were visiting to celebrate our 30th anniversary and were lucky enough to stay in an ocean view room. We could hardly believe the view was real when we looked out from the veranda onto the palm fringed beach. Total relaxation and luxury.
This is one of the most friendly resorts we've ever stayed at. The staff greet you by name and the other guests are keen to chat and share a drink. We were in a minority being first time visitors and it's easy to see why people return year after year - we hop to do so ourselves. More

But what makes a stay at East Winds so special is the people who work there, it's no coincidence that a lot of them have worked here for many years, they obviously love this place almost as much as the visitors, many of whom return, sometimes several times a year. The service is friendly and relaxed, yet very efficient and prompt. The room's are comfy, the food fantastic and the drinks are there when you want them. If paradise is lying on a sandy, palm fringed beach looking out at a blue sea while a friendly waiter ambles past every now and again to bring you a glass of whatever you fancy, then this is paradise. We had a fantastic stay here and can't wait to return.

The chef and his team provide fine dinning every night. 4 courses with some top notch wine to choose from.
Breakfast and lunch are more laid back buffet style, due to Covid rules you choose what you would like and it is plated up by the talented chefs.
The Bar and dinning staff create a fabulous fun friendly atmosphere for you all to enjoy.
All of the staff go above and beyond to make sure your every need is taken care of.
I have never experienced this amount of service ,good food, and attention to detail with an all inclusive resort.
I look forward to returning in the future. More

Our Renewal was well planned by the resort. Couldn't have planned it better myself. A warm thanks to Glenda for the planning and patience with me. Sylvanus, the gardener, for the wonderful decorations and the humming bird feeder. Lily for handling a tricky situation calmly. Tresa for the delicious drink creations. Charms for organizing our helicopter flight and luggage detail, plus other stuff I don't know about. Oh yah and the beautiful unexpected gift. FYI, We really like the DO NOT DISTURB sign, the grandkids know not to bother Poppa when this is up. As for the wonderful soap? FANTASTIC. I really wished we knew about this when we were there and I would have bought a few bars to take home. Might be a good idea to give samples (smaller ones) in the rooms. It will definitely boost sales. Also, a shout out to the wonderful people of Saint Lucia. Some of which watched our vow renewal and was very complimentary. Saint Lucia is our favorite spot to travel. I highly recommend it. More

There aren’t hundreds of guests so there is plenty of space and personalized service. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation where you don’t have to get up at 6 am to stake a claim on a beach chair this place is for you. We stayed in one of the little cottages (#4) which was very spacious, clean, and had every amenity that was promised, from coffee to mosquito repellent. The bed was comfortable and had very good quality linens. Lots of fluffy big towels. Outside the room was a private covered sitting area. One of the thoughtful gardeners put a hummingbird feeder nearby so I could watch them while having morning coffee. The grounds are gorgeous and all of the rooms are spread out. The pool area is very pretty and there was never a problem finding a place at any time, same for the beach area. The water sports were very good, always someone there to help with a smile. Shout out to Damian and Joe, they were terrific. There are little reefs either side of the beach where you can snorkel. The beach is clean and very peaceful. We did two excursions (sunset cruise on a catamaran) and a sail to the Pitons and Soufrière on a 50’ Beneteau. Both were very good, and limited to 10 guests, so everyone had lots of space and our host Simeón took great care of us.
The food is the best I have ever had at an all inclusive. At breakfast there are smiling chefs greeting you to make your eggs fresh to order. Lots of choices and excellent cappuccino!
Lunches were great, loved the giant beachfront grill. Lots of fresh salads with local ingredients all done very well.
At dinner there are linens on the table and a full compliment of silverware. The food was always presented beautifully by expert wait staff. Every evening during dinner there was some kind of entertainment , but played at a level that you could still hear someone speak. The man at the grand piano was fantastic and we also really enjoyed the folk band. There is no booming music late into the night at this place.
The yoga pavilion is gorgeous and hosted classes 4 of the 7 days of our stay. The spa pavilion was also beautiful.
From the moment you arrive you feel welcome and taken care of. All of the staff are professional and strive for excellence in a very sincere way.
Job well done and thank you. More
18 April, 2022We just returned yesterday from two weeks at East Winds, after two years of waiting due to Covid restrictions and we were not disappointed. If your looking for that large Sandals... read more vibe you won't find that here, this is laid back Caribbean luxury in great surroundings set on a superb beach with very friendly helpful staff, I won't name any because they are all superb and go out of there way to look after you. The cottage we had was set in the gardens and was superb, loved being able to sit on the patio in the evening with a cold beer out of the fridge watching the humming birds. I can see why people return here year after year. More

The coffee was excellent and generously served. I don’t remember all the names of the staff but Miriam, who was always at breakfast was a real star. She was so welcoming her contagious laugh always got the day off to a great start. The restaurant is right by the beach and is open on all sides so no air-con and great views.
We always had a cocktail before dinner and the bar staff were wonderful, we managed to try a different cocktail each evening. It was nice to chat to other guests too in the Bamboo lounge.
The swimming and snorkelling was excellent, the water transparent and warm. Plenty of sunbeds and shade and the bottle of water delivered mid-morning (by the really happy and smiling waiter) and drinks served on the beach without even having to move made us feel very well looked-after!
The gardens at East Winds are stunning, in fact it’s as if the hotel is placed in a garden. The head gardener does a fantastic job and we did the tour with him. He knows so much about all the plants and trees. A pleasure to talk to. Every afternoon we did the fitness trail and every morning a walk around the gardens. We did the tour to Pigeon Island morning tour - very enjoyable and well led by Simeon.
Our holiday was perfect, once at East Winds all covid related worries were left behind. There was a sense of peace and total relaxation. Excellent service, exquisite food and beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t wish for more! More
27 March, 2022Just returned from 10 days at East Winds, a first time visit, and I can see why people return year after year. The setting is beautiful, the accomodation spacious, comfortable... read more and perfect for our stay (superior cottage no.4). The staff are the biggest asset of this property, fun, friendly and efficient...they were all brilliant, but I must highlight Miriam with her wonderful bubbly personality...a pleasure to speak with at breakfast..Great way to start the day along with a glass of 'therapy'
It quite clearly is a property that appeals to a British market, and perhaps that is reflected in the evening food offering which at times I personally found a little bland, it lacked the Caribbean kick that I love.
Would I return.... yes... but maybe when I am a little older.. would I recommend...absolutely if you are looking for a relaxing laid back holiday in an elegant stylish small hotel with beautiful gardens, plenty of beach space and amazing staff.
