What Our Guests Are Saying
Great Vacation!
Wonderful trip. Resort has some of the nicest people working there. We loved talking and getting to know everyone one. We loved the beach and just spending the days there. Would recommend doing the garden tours. It’s honestly amazing how much Sylvanus knows. Only complaint-food was tough for me at times. It doesn’t help that I am very picky. I talked to the chef on two separate dinners and the first one she made was amazing. The 2nd time they just did a pan seared chicken which was very bland. But they were willing to work with me. It was very easy to tell that the resort is catered more for British than American.

Wonderful holiday - Stayed at East Winds for one week (sadly) in early July.
This was our first trip to St Lucia, and what a choice we made with this resort.
Stunning location,... read more with the most helpful, and friendliest staff we have ever met anywhere. Nothing was a problem to them, they all went over and above what is expected.
Accommodation was very clean and spacious, food and drinks were excellent quality.
Hopefully we will return one day, but would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying
ThankYou to all, who made it a holiday to remember.

Beautiful, charming, authentic hotel with superb service. - This was our fourth visit to St Lucia and our first to East Winds it will not be our last as we hope to join the many repeat guests which... read more speaks volumes about the quality of this wonderful hotel.
We stayed in a semi detached standard room with many luxury features. The resort is small so we were close to all facilities. Room was very large and attractive with plenty of storage space, very comfortable bed, Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom and a separate utility area with 2 sinks, tea and coffee making equipment and minibar containing white wine, beer, water and cans of soft drink, snacks and chocolate. Rooms are are arranged back to back and each has its own very private terrace with thatched parasol and seating also with a hummingbird feeder. Room was kept to a very high standard by the excellent housekeeping team.
Grounds are beautiful, mature, tropical and very well kept. The entire resort has a feeling of peace and beauty especially early in the morning when the birdsong is incredible. There are 2 areas of beach both with well spaced comfortable sunbeds and plenty of beach towels. Paddle boards, kayaks and hobie cats are available and the watersports team were really friendly and helpful.
The pool is lovely with more very comfortable sunbeds and a help yourself bar complete with everything to make your own cocktails and a fridge full of soft drinks, beer and water.
Food is excellent at all meals - buffet breakfasts and lunches with twice weekly BBQ lunch, the shrimp were amazing! Dinner was a la carte starting with an amuse bouche followed by 4 courses and a different menu each night, we enjoyed every meal and service was excellent. We also liked having a choice of specially chosen wines to complement the menu, The home made ice creams were a highlight - cashew nut and rosemary, avocado and lime, nutmeg and ginger! Our thanks to all the chefs and behind the scenes kitchen staff.
The inclusion of French champagne as part of the all inclusive really made my holiday as I am not a big cocktail drinker although those I tried were excellent especially whilst watching the spectacular sunsets.
Because the hotel only has 30 rooms the service felt very personal and was certainly the best we have ever experienced in the Caribbean. Special thanks to Wendell and Robert in the bar and the lovely waitress Jesse who always found time to chat and make sure we had everything we needed whilst always keeping on top of her workload. She is a credit to the hotel. Thanks also to Joe who was so kind and helpful when he took us out on a hobie cat which I thoroughly recommend. We were sad to leave and would like to thank every member of staff for their exceptional service we will return without doubt!

Quiet garden hotel with family flair - Excellent quiet boutique hotel, established in what is effectively a botanical garden. Family atmosphere, arranged around single bungalows. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is gourmet level... read more and the wines are authentic good quality choices. There is a lot of attention to detail and a feeling that everyone wants to help make your stay special. Lots of shade spots under established trees on the beach with shady canopies and under the shingled shade spots. Good vibes.

Lovely team - One of the most lovely places I’ve stayed. Very welcoming and friendly. Loved the book library. Great yoga and pilates. Coolish pool which was lovely. Always a beach chair... read more available. Enjoyed using a paddle board. Liked the in room mini-bar and champagne on arrival. They put taxis to and from the airports on my room and a transfer to and from the cricket which was handy to pay using a credit card. Be warned the taxis are very expensive. Take buses if you can. Only one power point in my room would charge my phone and the kettle only worked in one (other) power point.
